Connie, Nathan & Georgina

April 12th, 2012

Karen and her two girls live in England and are here in Cape Town visiting family.  Karen got in touch while planning their holiday to make a plan to get Connie & Georgina together with their brother Nathan for some photos as a gift for their Dad.  The girls were so excited to see Nathan!  Seeing them interact reminded me of what a wonderful gift family is – siblings are endless hours of entertainment.  I see it with my boys and it reminds me of growing up with two sisters myself, you just “know” them so well and there is so much that does not even need to be explained in your relationships – you get their sense of humour – you get when they sad and happy and the love you have is totally unconditional, even at those times when you might not be liking them much.    Anyway – I am going off track now.  Here are the photos of Connie, Nathan and Georgina – enjoy.

Aggie & Geoff

April 6th, 2012

Aggie and Geoff have been married for 55 years.  It was inspiring to hear the story of their life together and how they have shared so much of life’s journey with so much love and caring for each other.     Aggie & Geoff are Emma’s grandparents and that is how I got be there photographing their day for them.   Their family from near and far joined them at Tintswalo Atlantic to celebrate their 55th anniversary and renewal of vows with them.   The setting was in one of the most beautiful places in the world.    They had an intimate lunch with their family after the ceremony and then later in the afternoon their friends arrived for canapes and drinks.  It was a perfect day, there was love, sunshine, family, friends, music, delicious food & wine.   Enjoy the photos of your special day together and I wish you all so much love and happiness.

April 5th, 2012

Emma & Ed got married 4 years ago and that is when I first met the lovely Robbins family.   They have since had 3 beautiful children, first came Ethan, then Ellis and just 2 months ago little Elody arrived to help balance the male & female in their home.  It was so lovely to see you both again and to meet your family.  You are very special and gentle people who I love to spend time with.  Keep in touch and see you again soon.  Enjoy your photos.

Edward & Daphne

April 3rd, 2012

Edward and Daphne live in Singapore and got in touch with me a couple of months ago when they were planning their honeymoon to South Africa with Travel for Live.    Thanks for the referral Adam.  They wanted to have some fun photos while visiting Cape Town and after chatting over email about some options we chose Kalk Bay as the location for our shoot.  I always find Kalk Bay to be bursting with so much colour and life and as we were walking down the street I suddenly realised what a complete shock to their senses it must be for Edward & Daphne coming from Singapore.   We had a good laugh about it and after assuring them all was well they then eased into the bustle and we had a really fun afternoon taking photos and exploring a part of Cape Town they probably would not have come to see otherwise.  I really enjoyed meeting your both.  Thanks for being adventurous souls and enjoy the rest of your holiday in our beautiful country.  Have fun looking through your photos.
