Anne & Neil – Constantia Glen & SuikerbossieApril 29th, 2013What a love-filled wedding. The day was just perfect, the weather mild and sunny with no wind, beautiful bride, handsome groom and surrounded by friends and family to celebrate their special day with them. Anne’s beautiful dress was from The Wedding Box. I met Anne at her family home in Constantia where she was getting ready and everyone was so relaxed and happy. The ceremony was set in the most spectacular setting of Constantia Glen. After the ceremony Anne & Neil cut the delicious cake made by Charly’s Bakery for all the guest to have with champagne. Everyone then moved on to Suikerbossie where the festivities continued. It was such fun meeting your family and being part of your special day. Candice & MigajaApril 27th, 2013Candice loves her horse Migaja. Thanks so much Nini for putting us in touch. We made a plan to meet at the stables and get some photos to capture a day in the life of Migaja. I am always looking at the meaning of animal totems and what they are here to teach us. Animals are such wise creatures. Here is what they say about horses and it seemed very apt. Horses represent travel, power and freedom. This totem brings new journeys. It will teach you to ride in new directions and discover your freedom and power. Guide to overcoming obstacles. The Horse is the symbol of Wind. Horse people are usually friendly and adventurous. I so enjoyed meeting you and gentle Migaja.
Fab Things – Harfield Village & Newlands QuarterApril 26th, 2013Tracey is the dynamic owner of Fab Things. Fab Things is the place to go when you are looking for a unique gift for anyone you know of any age! The best thing about it is that Fab Things stock only locally made products from textiles, ceramics to stationery and much more. Tracey is busy getting her new website done and wanted to get some photos so we had a great time visiting both branches in Harfield Village and Newlands Quarter. Seb turns 8April 21st, 2013Seb celebrated his 8th birthday doing what he obviously loves most – playing tag rugby with his friends. Last year I photographed Seb’s sister, Sienna’s birthday party at Little Stream which was so much fun. For Seb’s party, Claudine had organised a perfect set-up, tag rugby for the boys, music, great coffee, pastries and wraps for the parents. At half time the kids enjoyed boerie rolls and of course some ice cream Ninja creations too. Claudine, thanks for getting me to share Seb’s birthday with you all. Enjoy the photos and happy birthday!

EarthSongApril 20th, 2013Product Photography is something that I have really enjoyed getting into more over the last year. I get to meet amazing people who make great things and they do it with so much love and passion. Today I would love to introduce Margie from EarthSong whose passion it is to make beauty products with only natural ingredients. They are just beautiful. My flavour of the moment is the Joy Room Diffuser which has Zululand Lemongrass and Ginger in it. Every time I smell it – I just feel so happy! Margie, I really honour you for bringing your dream into reality for us all to enjoy.
